Have you ever told family or friends that you are swingers? Most likely you have not in fear of possible backlash. It’s not to be discussed because people can have moral issues and might judge you for it. Most people have no idea about what swinging really is, and there are so many misconceptions about swingers. We give you a top 5.

Swingers are cheaters
All people who have sex with someone else than their spouse are cheaters. And they are not picky about the people they have sex with. And if both partners have sex with other people they have a lousy relationship. Also swingers have meaningless sex anytime and anywhere and are acting behind each other’s back.

  3. Swingers are weird and unhappy people
They absolutely have no family life, kids or regular job. And if they work they are certainly no advocate or doctor or have a high education. They have no loving relationship with their partner and seek their fun in sex with others.

  4. Swingers want to convert everyone
You have to be careful to become friends with swingers because they will try to convert you into their lifestyle. Always! And when you invite them to your birthday party they show up in kinky clothes and try to talk your friends and family into swinging as well.
Maybe your neighbors are already swingers

While I absolutely don't mind telling anyone we enjoy swinging, my wife totally dislikes the idea of other people knowing we're swingers. She'd NEVER talk about it with vanilla people, while I'm an advocate for the swinger lifestyle. But I have to take into account my wife doesn't want others to know, why she enjoyes swinging a lot. Different culture and up-bring I guess.

What you state is very common but it comes with consequences. Even if you are an advocate and feel proud to be a swinger you have to remember that swinging is a team game and being open with everybody may violate a silent rule that your wife may have.
She may enjooy the physical and psychological thrill that swinging brings, but bare in mind that we still live in a social environment full of hypocrisy and judgement and she doesn't want to be "looked at" or "pointed at" if her prude friends (and we all have some of those) find out.
Especially these days when the hypocrisy of our convervative friends seems to be at all time high, it is prudent and wise to measure who you disclose such intimate and sensitive information.
Respect for each other's approach to swinging will bring you more sex and more fun than to expose your wife to people she doesn't want them to know. Keeping it your "little fun secret" will make her want it more and she will be even more willing to be your co-conspirator in your sex escapades...
