Find your true love at work
A recent study of 2000 adults shows that people who met at work and fell in love are more likely to end up in marriage than relationships that start in any other way. 14 per cent of the married couples met each other at work. Also meeting through friends resulted in long term love (11 per cent of the couples).
The less succesfull meeting places for long term romances are holidays and pubs.
Key factors for the long lasting ‘office love’ are the stresses and strains of work and the sheer number of hours we spend with colleagues.
Researchers also found that 51 per cent of people think the place or situation where you meet someone can affect how successful the relationship is.
And now we would like to know: where have you met your partner!
